If you need to record mechanical quantities and also digital vehicle data, then the SomatXR MX471B-R CAN module is the right addition to your measuring chain. Four individually configurable inputs receive CAN data, synchronously with analog quantities acquired using other MX modules.
The module also supports reading of CCP or xCP-on-CAN messages and offers the option of using CAN messages as triggers for measurement recordings. The configuration is made in the familiar simple manner using description files.
In addition, the module provides gateway functionality and can send sensor signals acquired with other SomatXR modules as CAN messages – a further option for integrating the powerful measuring system with an existing test automation environment in the test bench or with a CAN based data recorder.
