Soldering Terminals for Strain Gauges

For strain gauges with leads or wires, solder terminals should be installed between the connecting cables and the strain gauge itself. This will facilitate the execution of a perfect solder joint and provide strain relief for the strain gauge connections.

The solder terminals are installed in the same way on the test object as on the strain gauge.

Flux Pen: Practical Aid for Smaller Soldering Connections

The flux pen is a practical soldering aid in felt pen format for production of smaller soldering connections. Suitable for solders with melting points up to 350°C (662°F). The flux pen contains non-corrosive flux without chloride.

Heat-Resistant Polyimide Tape

The polyimide tape is suitable for all standard strain gage application procedures to ensure safe positioning of the strain gage on the workpiece.
The temperature application range is -70°C to +260°C (-94°F to 500°F).
