SD01A Zener Barrier Set for Intrinsically Safe Measurement Circuits in Hazardous Areas
HBM has chosen the SD01A Zener barrier set especially for use with strain-gauge (SG) transducers connected to carrier-frequency and DC amplifiers that are balanced to ground. In instrumentation and control engineering, Zener barriers are used to process small voltages and currents. The Zener barriers contain intrinsically safe circuits which serve to operate intrinsically safe field devices (e.g. load cells or force transducers) in areas with potentially explosive atmospheres (hazardous areas).
- Suited to be used with SG transducers in full bridge circuit, 6-wire configuration
- Usable with HBM electronics PMX, ClipX, digiCLIP, MGCplus, PME, MVD, Clip, and RM4220
