SIL 2 OPTION

The XALIS 1000SIL, a SIL 2 certified indicator specifically designed for use with strain gauge or Wheatstone bridge inputs, can meet your needs in terms of safety and reliability.

XALIS 1000SIL is the only device on the market to offer SIL 2 certification for 4 to 6 wire strain gauge or Wheatstone bridge inputs, two analog outputs including one SIL 2 certified, 1 to 4 SIL 2 certified relay outputs, and communication via the Modbus RTU fieldbus. This combination of features makes it an ideal choice, particularly for industrial lifting applications that require optimal performance in terms of control and command.

In terms of safety, the XALIS 1000SIL complies with the IEC 61508-2 standard and generates an output signal in voltage or current that represents an input from the strain gauge or Wheatstone bridge. It also offers the ability to switch relay outputs to a fallback position when a threshold defined by the operator is exceeded, thus ensuring increased safety during weight, pressure, or various stress measurements. Moreover, in the event of a detected fault, fallback or safe states are automatically defined for the analog and relay outputs.
