Transient Recorder and Data Acquisition System Now Faster Than Ever

From fast to now even faster. GEN7tA has a data transfer rate of 400 MB/s (with optional optical or electrical 10 Gbit Ethernet). This transient recorder and DAQ system is made for your fast measurement tasks with medium to high channel counts.

Designed for installation in control cabinets (19”) GEN7tA is optimized for test bench applications. It offers a rapid transient data acquisition and continuous data transfer of either 100 MB/s (with optional 1 Gbit Ethernet), 400 MB/s (with optional 10 Gbit Ethernet) to an external PC or 350 MB/s to an integrated and optionally removablesolid state disk (SSD). The data acquisition system also has seven input card slots with up to 224 individually configurable channels.

Flexibility out of the box

Ready to use right out of the box: As soon as you unpack the device and install the Perception software on your PC – GEN7tA is ready for immediate use. Depending on the selected operating mode – continuous or transient – measurement data is either transferred directly to the PC, stored on the optionally removable SSD, or it is initially buffered in high-speed RAM to offer transient recording without any throughput limitations.

System-independent synchronization

Are you looking to integrate GEN7tA into a system with other measuring amplifiers? No problem, as GEN7tA supports Precision Time Protocol (PTP). This makes it possible to synchronize multiple devices networked via Ethernet – regardless of the product family.

Additionally, a master/slave function is available to synchronize Genesis HighSpeed devices.
