GEN3t Compact High Speed Data Acquisition System
Compact rack mountable high-speed DAQ system
With its compact dimensions, the powerful GEN3t HighSpeed data acquisition system is designed for installation in control cabinets (19”). It is optimized for test bench applications, which demand rapid data acquisition – at up to 100 million measured values per second per channel if needed. GEN3t offers rapid transient recording and continuous data transfer of 100 MB/s to an external PC or 200 MB/s to an optional integrated solid state disk (SSD). The data acquisition system also has access to three slots for plug-in cards with up to 96 individually configurable channels.
Flexibility and performance out of the box
Just like that it’s ready to go: GEN3t is ready for use immediately, as soon as you have unpacked the device and installed the Perception software on your PC. Depending on the selected operating mode – continuous or transient – measurement data is either transferred directly to the PC, stored on the optional SSD, or it is initially buffered in high-speed RAM to offer transient recording without any throughput limitations.
On test benches–at maximum speed
Once mounted in the rack or cabinet, the GEN3t compact, high-speed data acquisition system reliably records measurement data at extremely high speeds. It is especially impressive in test bench applications, for example testing electric motors.
System-independent synchronization
Would you like to integrate GEN3t into a system with other measuring amplifiers? No problem, as GEN3t supports the Precision Time Protocol (PTP). This makes it possible to synchronize the times of multiple devices networked via Ethernet – regardless of the product family. Additionally a master/slave function is available to synchronize Genesis HighSpeed devices.
