Source-Path-Contribution Analysis: Theory and Applications

This 45-minute webinar will be an introduction to Source-Path-Contribution in automotive applications for NVH engineering.

WEBINAR OVERVIEW:

In this webinar, you will be introduced to the theory and applications for Source-Path-Contribution Analysis (SPC).  We will explain the techniques available for source identification and review the benefits of the interface and blocked forces.  Using automotive application cases for power steering, tire and powertrain noise, we will illustrate how to use the SPC results in the VI-grade Simulator for NVH engineering and design starting from the early phases of a vehicle development program.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

  • Learn what is Source-Path-Contribution and the benefits it provide for product development.
  • Understand the differences between interface and blocked forces for structure-borne noise.
  • See how SPC results enable subjective NVH evaluations in VI-grade NVH Simulator from the early stages of the product development cycle
  • Learn about real world applications for SPC in automotive including power steering, road and powertrain noise.
