Short-Circuit Testing of High-Performance Batteries

Qualifying the circuit breakers and fuses of high-power traction batteries requires special current sensors: They must have the ability to measure currents in the range of a few kiloamps – but also currents of a few amps, while the measurement must be performed precisely and with high dynamics.

In this session, you will learn:

• Introduction to a specially developed, non-linear current sensor (NLCS)
• Measurement and analysis using the Genesis HighSpeed data recorders
