Corporate history

DURHAM INSTRUMENTS, incorporated in November of 1977, is a distributor of high-quality sensors, electronic instrumentation and data acquisition and control systems across Canada.

Our home for almost 48 years was in Pickering, Ontario, in the Regional Municipality of Durham, located to the east of Toronto, which is the largest metropolitan area in Canada.

In 2025 the head office moved to Oakville, Ontario with branch offices located in Montreal, Quebec covering Eastern Canada and in Edmonton, Alberta covering Western Canada.

Meet our team

A customer service centre is located in the Oakville Office to provide maximum support for all the products the company offers. Custom system solutions such as software and hardware integration are also manufactured at this facility. We also provide on-site technical service and support (calibration, set-up, start up) from our Oakville location.

As a company we enjoy a reputation for being well above average in our ability to provide in-depth application analysis, problem solving and support. We have a deep commitment to customer satisfaction, and find that many of our customers appreciate our efforts.
