ATA-2001 Amplifier
The Measurement Specialties analog transducer amplifier is a general purpose, AC line-powered LVDT/RVDT conditioner featuring state-of-the-art design principles. All amplifier controls are accessible from the outside of the rugged aluminum enclosure. Designed for universal compatibility with all 4, 5, and 6 lead LVDTs. A wide range of oscillator frequencies combined with two excitation voltages, 3.5 and 0.5 Vrms, provide maximum versatility.
MP2000 Digital Indicator
This microprocessor based LVDT indicator and set-point controller is designed for industrial and process control applications utilizing any LVDT/RVDT-based measurement device. In addition to displaying real-time readings of LVDTs, RVDTs and gage heads, the MP2000 also displays MIN, MAX, TIR, A+B and A-B values.
PML-1000 Panel Meter
The PML1000 is an AC line powered LVDT/RVDT panel meter that is ideal for industrial and test applications. For control applications, it has a fast (125 Hz) unscaled analog output, an isolated 0-10 VDC/4-20 mA scaleable output and optional serial 2 or 4 wire RS 422/485 communications.

LCIT Linear Inductive Sensor
The LCIT series is based on a patented linear position sensor design that features all of the benefits of current LVDT inductive technology, but at a significantly lower cost. The proprietary coil and electronics design of the LCIT has allowed Measurement Specialties to dramatically increase the frequency response without increasing noise, and lower the mass of the core.
Linear Position Sensor - LVDT
CTS-420 Position Transmitter System
The CTS 420 is a 2-wire current loop position transmitter system especially suited to valve position indication and other position indication in process industries. The system consists of an LVDT position sensor with matching electronics to provide 4-20 mA output into 2-wire current loops.
DC-EC AccuSens LVDT
The DC–EC AccuSens™ Series incorporates a unique monolithic chip combined with a computer-designed AC LVDT to achieve premium performance. The ratiometric design of the monolithic circuitry compensates for power supply deviations for continuously stable operation. Unaffected by input variations, the transducer provides highly accurate, repeatable measurement.
DC-SE LVDT
The DC-SE series has been designed to meet today’s requirements for operation from a single-ended power supply. The output is also single-ended over the full range displacement of the LVDT making the unit compatible with unipolar inputs on analog-to-digital converters and programmable logic controllers, etc.
E-Series LVDT
The E Series of LVDTs is economical and satisfies numerous applications where LVDT performance and reliability are desired, but where budgets are limited. Linearity is 0.5% of full-range for all units except the E2000. The E series is particularly suitable for moderate operating temperatures.
GC-485 Digisense Gauge Head
GC-485 DigiSense™ Gage Head is available in five bipolar measurement ranges, with standard strokes from ± .050 inches to ± 1.0 inch. The single ended 8.5 to 30.0 volt dc. input and two-wire, addressable RS-485 output, make the GC-485 ideally suited to factory automation applications. Direct digital output eliminates the need for expensive and error prone analog to digital conversion.

GCA Series gage head with stainless steel construction enables the performs in environments containing moisture, dirt and other contaminants. Electronic components are hermetically sealed for added protection against hostile conditions. These are heavy duty, long stroke units with ranges up to ±2.0" (50mm). Maximum spring force is typically 8 oz (226.8g), dependent upon probe position.

GCD-SE Gauge Head
The GCD-SE Series is available in five uni-polar measurement ranges, with standard strokes from 0 to 0.1 inch to 0 to 2.0 inches. Operating on a single ended 8.5 to 28.0 volt dc. input, and minimal current draw, the GCD-SE is ideally suited to portable measurement applications. Hermetically sealed, the GCD-SE is also well suited to in-process wet grinding and machining applications.
GCT Gauge Head Transmitter
The GCT Series Gage Head Transmitter is available in four different ranges from 0 to .250-inch, to 0 to 2.0-inches. This rugged two wire loop powered gage head is designed for harsh environments with its hermetically sealed stainless steel, housing and MS style connector. The .750” OD body can withstand up to 1000 psi of external pressure and is capable of operation completely submerged in fluid.
HC-485 DigiSense LVDT
The HC485 DigiSense™ Displacement Sensor is available in seven bipolar measurement ranges, with standard strokes from ± .050 inches to ± 3.0 inches. Operating on a single ended 8.5 to 30.0 volt dc. input and a two-wire addressable RS-485 output, the HC485 is ideally suited to factory automation applications. Direct digital output eliminates the need for expensive and error prone analog to digital conversion.
HCA-RA-Series Hermetically Sealed LVDT
HCA-RA right angle series LVDTs are tungsten-inert gas (TIG) welded for hermetic sealing with an easy to install radial connector termination. A design improvement to the standard HCA series, the HCA-RA has a through bore design and a right angle connection for applications where product length is an issue. The HCA-RA series can withstand up to 1000psi of external pressure.
HCA-Series Hermetically Sealed LVDT
The HCA Series LVDTs are tungsten-inert gas (TIG) welded to form a hermetic seal that is impervious to dirt, water, steam and corrosive liquids and vapors. They feature a glass-sealed, MS-type connector, but do not permit through bore operation. All exposed surfaces are stainless steel, including the boreliner and connector shell.
HCD Hermetically Sealed LVDT
The HCD series LVDTs are impervious to dirt, water, steam spray and most corrosives. Tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding provides hermetic sealing that is free from oxidation-producing faults that may cause leakage. They have been qualified at pressures up to 1000 psi (70 bars) and are suitable for numerous high-pressure applications.
HCT Series LVDT Transmitter
The HCT Series LVDT transmitters are the perfect choice for high performance measurements in environments containing moisture, dirt, and fluid contaminants. Operating on a +10.5 to +28VDC loop voltage, the HCT delivers a smooth 4-20mA current loop output. True hermetic sealing of the coil assembly and electronics provides premium protection against adverse environments.
HR-Series LVDT
The HR Series of LVDTs is highly reliability and is suitable for most general applications. The HR Series features a large core-to-bore clearance, high output voltage over a broad range of excitation frequencies, and a magnetic stainless steel case for electromagnetic and electrostatic shielding.
LBB Ultra Precision Gauge Heads
The Linear Ball Bearing (LBB) Series of dimensional gaging probes is engineered for highly precise and repeatable measurements in quality control and metrology applications. LBB within the gaging probe minimize radial play and friction for ultra-precise measurement.
M-12 LVDT
The new M-12 series coil design has been optimized to provide the best possible temperature coefficient of sensitivity, while maintaining suitability for operation with extended cable lengths. A seamless 400 series stainless steel case provides magnetic shielding for the noisiest electrical environments. Available ranges are from ± 5 mm to ± 150 mm.
MHR Miniature LVDT
The MHR Series of LVDTs is ideal for applications where excessive core weight could influence the motion of sensitive mechanisms. The lightweight core also helps minimize stresses and preserves the structural integrity of the core actuation assembly. High sensitivity results from close electrical coupling between coil and core. A magnetic stainless steel housing provides electromagnetic and electrostatic shielding.
MP-Series LVDT
The MP Series of LVDTs is suitable for heavy industrial use. Its coils are encapsulated in an anodized extruded aluminum housing, providing protection against electromagnetic and electrostatic interference. A heavy-duty terminal barrier strip replaces lead wires. A Teflon boreliner is standard equipment.
PCA-116 Economy Gauge Head
Our PCA-116 family of gage heads was developed for less demanding applications where a balance between cost and performance is paramount. PCA-116 gage heads incorporate a standardized LVDT with repeatability better than 0.0001" (0.0025 mm) and linearity within 0.5% of full range output. The probe shaft is externally sprung and is carried on low friction nylon sleeve bearings.
PCA-375 Gauge Head
The PCA-375 Series gage head is based on the MHR series of LVDTs. The modified MHR has an extended case and spring-loaded plunger. The design goals were simplicity and high reliability with low cost.
PCA-375 PR-020 Ultra Compact Gauge Head
The PCA-375 PR-020 Series gage head is an ultra-compact device that provides accurate measurement in areas with limited space. Designed with a radial cable exit, the gage head easily fits within miniature fixtures and small inside diameters. AC operated, this ultra-compact gage head is compatible with all Measurement Specialties signal conditioning.
PTS-420 Position Transmitter System
The PTS 420 linear position transmitter consists of a one-piece linear position sensor and transmitter electronics. Configured for use in two-wire, current loops, the PTS 420 is compatible with most process controllers. Units are available in measurement ranges from 0.25" to 10".
XS-B Subminiature LVDT
The XS-B Series was designed for micro applications. It is particularly well suited for multi-point measurement of small components. Core weight is virtually negligible. Manufacturing requires extremely sophisticated assembly techniques. Coils are wound from hair-thin wire. Lead-wire bonding and other exacting operations are performed by highly skilled specialists with binocular microscopes.
XS-C Subminiature LVDT
The XS-C Series satisfies those applications involving measurement and control in pressure-sealed chambers, e.g., hydraulic actuators and pressure vessels where bulkhead mounting is permitted. It is a sealed, heavy-walled LVDT suitable for operating pressures up to 3000 psi (210 bars), and proof pressures up to 4500 psi (315 bars).
XS-D LVDT
The XS-D Series is particularly well suited for measuring relatively large displacements, but where installation space is limited. The XS–D has a substantially greater displacement range than standard LVDTs but without the accompanying increase in body length and weight. Special winding techniques permit linear range measurements up to 80 percent of the XS–D’s housing length.
XS-ZTR Nuclear Radiation Resistant LVDT
The XS-ZTR Series LVDT is designed for measuring displacement at very high and cryogenic temperatures. The XS-ZTR operates continuously at 550°C and will survive 650°C for several hours. The XSZTR is also designed to perform within specification after exposure to a total integrated flux of 1011 rads gamma or 3 x 1020 NVT.

Pressure Sensors & Transmitters - Pressure Transducers
P1200 Pressure Transducer
The P1200 provides high accuracy pressure measurement of liquids and gases. It combines hybrid electronics with highly reliable strain gauge sensing technology to offer superior performance in rugged applications. Available in ranges from 0 - 75 up to 0 - 10,000 PSIG.
P900 Pressure Transducer
The P900 uses a 17-4 PH stainless steel diaphragm to sense pressure. The deflection of the diaphragm is transferred to a double cantilever beam by a force transfer rod, where the strain is measured by four foil strain gauges. Capable of sensing extremely small changes of applied pressure, it is relatively insensitive to vibration, attitude, and shock. Available in ranges from 0 - 75 up to 0 - 10,000 PSIG, with optional intrinsic safety.
P9000 Pressure Transducer
The P9000 Series is a range of advanced, digitally compensated pressure transducers. The unique design of the P9000 pressure transducer utilizes the proven reliability of strain gauge technology and innovative digital compensation electronics. The synergy of these technologies results in an instrument grade pressure transducer. Available in ranges from 0 - 75 up to 0 - 10,000 PSIG.

Rotary Position Sensors - Inductive
R120LC RVIT Rotary Position Sensor
The R120LC Series is a DC operated non-contact rotary transducer. It utilizes non-contacting technology, and does not suffer the wear problems experienced by potentiometers. Features a range of ±60°.
R60D RVIT Rotary Position Sensor
The R60D rotary transducer is a shorter version of the R30D. Calibrated for use over ±60 degrees, the R60D offers improved range without sacrificing other performance parameters.
RSYN Rotary Position Sensor
RSYN angular position sensors are non-contact transducers that incorporate proprietary rotor and coil designs.The linear AC output represents the rotor shaft angle position providing the user with exceptional resolution even over very small angular ranges.
RVIT-15-120i Rotary Position Sensor
RVITs are available with a choice of standard face mounting or optional four hole flange mounting. RVITs offer wide operating temperature range, infinite resolution, and a virtually infinite rotational life. Provides a 4-20 mA output over 0 to 120° range.
RVIT-15-60 Rotary Position Sensor
RVITs are available with a choice of standard face mounting or optional four hole flange mounting. RVITs offer wide operating temperature range, infinite resolution, and a virtually infinite rotational life. Provides a ±3 VDC output over ±60° range.
RVIT-Z Rotary Position Sensor
The unique design of the RVIT-Z incorporates the proprietary RVIT (Rotary Variable Inductive Transformer) technology and signal conditioning circuitry on a single PCB. The RVIT-Z provides an ultra low profile, high accuracy solution for rotary and angular measurements in OEM applications.
Rotary Position Sensors - RVDT
R-Flex Coupling System
The R-Flex™ coupling system is a versatile, easily installed coupling device that corrects for most types of angular sensor shaft misalignments. R-Flex™ provides excellent hysteresis-free repeatability.
R30A RVDT Rotary Position Sensor
The R30A and R36AS RVDTs are AC operated rotary transducers. AC excitation of 3 V rms results in a ratiometric AC output voltage that varies in direct proportion to the change in angular position of the transducer shaft. The R30A is packaged in a smaller size 11 aluminum housing with flying lead termination for slightly less aggressive applications.
R30AS RVDT Rotary Position Sensor
The R30A and R36AS RVDTs are AC operated rotary transducers. AC excitation of 3 V rms results in a ratiometric AC output voltage that varies in direct proportion to the change in angular position of the transducer shaft. The R36AS incorporates a more rugged stainless steel size 15 package, and MS style connector.
R30D RVDT Rotary Position Sensor
The R30D RVDT is a DC operated non-contacting rotary transducer. Integrated signal conditioning enables the R30D to operate from a bipolar ±15 VDC source with a high level DC output that is proportional to the full range of the device. Calibrated for operation to ±30 degrees, the R30D provides a constant scale factor of 125 mVDC/degree.

IEM-422 Current Transmitter
The IEM 422 is a line powered current transmitter designed for industrial process control applications. The unit consists of a power supply and LVDT conditioner module pre-set to supply a 4 to 20 mA output from a 115 or 230 volt AC supply.
LDM-1000 Signal Conditioner
The LDM-1000 features several different input / output options to accommodate varying PLC analog I/O requirements. A wide range combination of gains, drive voltages and oscillator frequencies insure compatibility with virtually all LVDT and RVDT type sensors.
LiM-4-20 Transmitter Module
The LiM 4-20 is low cost LVDT transmitter module designed to provide good performance at a cost suitable for OEM applications. 4 to 20 mA output may be achieved with LVDT full scale outputs from 100 mV to 5.6 Volts rms.
LVM-110 Voltage Module
The LVM-110 is designed to be a low cost LVDT signal conditioning solution for OEM applications, and is compatible with most standard and special design Measurement Specialties LVDTs. Provides analog voltage output.

AccuStar Electronic Clinometer
The AccuStar® Electronic Clinometer is an extremely accurate angle measurement device. Designed for easy integration, with a choice of analog, ratiometric, digital or serial models, the clinometer produces an output signal corresponding to direction and magnitude of angular displacement. Features a linear range of ±45°.
AccuStar II - DAS20 Dual Axis Clinometer
AccuStar® II/DAS-20 combines the function of two clinometers in one package. The unique dome shaped design features a capacitance based sensor which produces output signals directly proportional to the relative tilt in two axes. AngleStar Electronic Protractor System
The system incorporates a special AccuStar I ratiometric electronic clinometer, a digital display, and a standard four foot cable. There are three systems to choose from: ±19.99 degrees with a 0.01 degree resolution, ±45°, or a +90° with 0.1 degree resolution.
